Friends of the Montauk Library
The Friends of the Montauk Library is a dynamic group of volunteers providing a variety of interesting and informative programs such as the Book Discussion Group, lectures, bus trips to New York, cooking workshops, and the Winter Movie Night Group that meets Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm.
The Friends raise funds for special library projects through their popular Book Fairs during the year. Check our calendar page for future dates.
Membership renewal time is now - be sure to update your information, especially e-mail address, in order to receive information from The Friends regarding upcoming events.

FRIENDS EXECUTIVE BOARD
The Executive Board meets on the first Thursday of each month
at 1 p.m. at the Library
BOOKS - FREE WITH A DONATION
The Friends now have an area in the Library where gently used hardcover books are displayed and are free, with a donation. A selection including fiction, biographies, cookbooks, sports, poetry, house & garden and other various non-fiction are on display. A donation box is located on the shelf. This area is to the left once you enter through the main doors.
You do not have to be a resident or Library card holder to 'shop'.
